Attention to Detail
Our Process
Our soft wash roof cleaning process is designed to safely remove algae, moss, and biological growth without compromising the integrity of your shingles. We strictly follow manufacturer-approved cleaning guidelines to provide the best results. Unlike companies that rely on brushing, pressure washing, or surface cleaning—which will strip protective granules and significantly shorten roof lifespan.
Our process uses a low-pressure application of a roof specific cleaning solution containing sodium hypochlorite and surfactants. This solution works as a biocide, killing moss and algae at the root rather than forcing it off mechanically. Once applied, the growth naturally falls off over time, eliminating the risk of granule loss or shingle damage. No pressure washing or aggressive brushing is ever required for asphalt shingles.

Roof Cleaning Contracts
We offer recurring roof cleaning contracts for all homeowners. Your roof surface is the most important part of your home and should never be neglected.
Minimizing growth on your roof is required to maximize its lifespan and maintain visual appeal. While Sodium Hypochlorite remains the most effective solution for removing moss and gloeocapsa magma results are temporary, and regrowth will occur over time due to environmental conditions beyond our control.
When you sign up for our recurring roof cleaning contracts you will never again need to worry about moss and gloeocapsa magma damaging your roof and causing leaks.
Why would your roof need 2-3 treatments?
In many cases roof cleaning requires multiple treatments spread out 1-2 weeks. Manufacturer guidelines warn against cleaning by aggressive means, for proper cleaning we need to kill the moss, allow it to die then fall off naturally. This process ensures that maximum roof granules stay intact during the cleaning process. When there is moss on a roof we typically require 2-3 treatments to completely remove the growth. These treatments are either spread 1-2 weeks apart or performed after 1-2 heavy rains.
Beware!
Many companies do not follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
While the results of brushing and high pressure washing may look impressive, these methods will remove layers of material from your shingles, exposing fresh, unweathered material beneath the top layer, making it appear new. This is very destructive to your roof stripping away years of protection, which will lead to higher repair costs in the future.
Never allow any company to use a surface cleaner on your roof, even if they claim its "low pressure" the rotating nozzles will cause damage to your roof even if it is not immediately visible.
Always check with your contractor to ensure they are following the manufacturers guidelines.
